Party With The Pelicans, And Take One Home!

Fairhope's Art Takes Flight pelicans will be auctioned on Saturday, Sept. 29th in the Fairhope Civic Center at a Buy, Buy Birdie beach party at beginning at 5:30 pm.

Twenty-five pelicans, chosen by a jury, including the five People's Choice

pelicans, will be in the Live Auction and 45 will go to the highest bidders in the Silent Auction.

The event will be the culmination of the seven-month outdoor art project.

Prior to the auction, the pelicans will be on view from September 7th to 27th at the Eastern Shore Art Association, 401 Oak Street, Fairhope, Alabama.

Proceeds from the auction will go to support public art in Fairhope.

The Early Bird Special ticket price is $45 per person if you buy your tickets prior to September 15th.After that date, the price is $60 per person. At the registration table, you will be given two drink tickets and a catalogue with your assigned bid number.

Although you may register at the door on the night of the auction, pre-registration is encouraged.

AUCTION NOTE: Winning bidders must pick up their pelicans that evening or from 9-12 on Sunday, September 30th.
