Its purpose is to develop and implement a long-range plan to aquire works of art of the highest quality and to make visible Fairhope's long-standing interest in and support of the arts. By working with the Mayor, City Council, local businesses, organizations and individuals, COPA raises funds for public art projects in Fairhope. COPA also receives foundation grants and funding from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

All gifts, no matter the size, are necessary and are appreciated in order for COPA to continue its mission of developing a sculpture and art trail through Fairhope. Donations are tax-deductible.
