About the Pelican: Pelican in the Hat is just that of Dr. Seuss' imagination. The pelican resembles the appearance of the original character in attire. The hat is constructed out of foam and attached to the pelican. It is a recognizable childhood character that both kids and adults will enjoy.
About The Artist: Amanda Peacock moved to the Eastern Shore area in her junior year in high school, and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in graphic design. She is currently an art director with Lewis Communications. Amanda lives with her husband, two dogs and a cat in Lake Forest. They enjoy spending time with their pets, watching movies and Auburn football. Their second passion is cooking, whether for friends, family or just themselves.
