About the Pelican: The Patriotic Pelican stands at attention for the freedom of the people of Fairhope and America. He sings I'm glad to be an American pelican, where at least I know I'm free, And I'd like to thank the men who died to buy that right for me. God Bless Fairhope and the USA.
