About the Pelican: Lavyon's pelican design is pink roses and lemons, leaves, vines and pink ribbons, painted on a white pelican. It is painted in oils.
About The Artist: Lavyon Duncan been painting since 1960, and has been teaching since 1973. She also does interior design work, wall murals, and all types of faux paintings. She has been a member of the National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters since 1972 and President of both the New Orleans Chapter and the Western Reserve Chapter.
