About The Artist: Fairhope High School student Taylor Moore was named a Teen Prodigy in the February 2006 Edition of Mobile Bay Monthly. Taylor creates vibrant interpretations of the sociology around him to exaggerate the coloration and perspective of reality. His style is quick, majestic, and full of life. In addition to receiving the State Superintendent's Award in 9-10 Division in 2006, he received the Faulkner State Art Fair Excellence Award and was the 16th Annual Joe Cain Classic Poster design winner.
About The Sponsors: The Fairhope Single Tax Corporation is dedicated to the preservation of our natural habitat, most recently with the donation of approximately 42 acres of land that is part of the Weeks Bay watershed, with a goal of restoring it to open, undeveloped parkland by the removal of kudzu and other alien vegetation, the addition of nature trails and a model restoration of the environment of Cowpen Creek. The City of Fairthope is clarifying the posssible use of this land to serve as a mitigation bank for new development with a 10 percent set aside for green space/parkland in new developments over 10 acres.
