63: ADDIE-BOO
Sponsor: Kitchens Per Se'
Artist: Yvonne Boucher

To Be Hatched

About the Pelican: Addie-Boo is whimsical, with a girlish spirit. She is dressed for the flight and has her high heels on as well as her spit-curl feathers in place. Her (fake) fur wrap will be flowing behind as does a 1930's aviators. However, she would never dream of wearing goggles! Her feathers are preened and groomed with complementary colors as well as punches of pizzazz color. Her accessories include jewels, facial and wing embellishments and attitude. She was inspired by my daughter, Addie. As a child she loved dressing up herself and her pets. She also enhanced this with attitude! Without further adieu, this is a great personification and creative extension to bring some of my most cherished fun memories of Addie and her creative whimsical days and to add a few of my own!

About The Artist: Yvonne Boucher is the artist for ADDIE-BOO. Originally from the Philadelphia, PA. area, Yvonne has worked as a painter (both commissioned and personal), graphic designer, photographer, and has taught art lessons in various mediums. She is co-owner and designer with her husband David in a kitchen/bath cabinet and design business, Kitchens Per Se', in Fairhope
